Ken Griffey Jr. presents Major League Baseball | SNES | Season 2 | Game 1 of 162

Alright folks, I'm back again. I decided to give this game another go in my downtime away from the grinding required in Ace Combat 8. After easily winning (kind of) the World Series with Atlanta last time, I'm going with a less capable team this time around. Maybe its for my own curiosity or I wanted a challenge or an answer for that nagging question: Can a good player win with a bad team and overcome the RNG associated with low player attributes? I've decided to go with the presidents team, er Kansas City Royals this time around. As of 1994, they were 9 years out from their last championship (1985) and finished 3rd in the AL West, but record wise they were right in the middle of the AL. Stat wise, no one on their roster in this game hit more than 20 homeruns, and only three of the pitchers had double digit wins, although the closer did save 45 games. As anyone who watched my videos from Atlanta, I tend to complain about the lack of stats the game keeps track of, so I'm going to make a spreadsheet to keep track of them myself. Probably just hits, AB, runs for the batters, and games, ER, hits and IP for pitchers. Without futher ado, let's get the second season of Griffey baseball started.
