Bought meself an old second hand mountain bike and tested it out in the beautiful Wyre Forest on Worcestershire/Shropshire border and several weeks later went off to a place called Burlish Top which has a bit of interesting world war 2 history. Not having cycled much since 2004 I found it a bit challenging being in my mid sixties, but fun nevertheless.
