OBS Ford Clogged Cat Symptoms

My 93 F250 was suffering from extremely low power. I could barely do 40mph up hills. It turns out the catalytic converter was completely melted inside, clogged, blocked up, choking the engine and blocking all exhaust gas. I also heard a harsh whistling sound when laying on the gas, which I believe was exhaust gas blowing out of the flange gasket at high pressure. Not good. This is a cheap and easy fix that may apply to many older cars and trucks. If your cat is 20+ years old, I highly recommend taking it down and checking it for blockage.
