Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables, and all of Queenstown laid out like a postcard. We grabbed brunch at the café up there and scored a window seat with the best view in town. Next, we hit up Deer Park Heights. It’s wild literally. Goats swarmed our car, deers stared us down, and the whole place looked like something out of The Lord of the Rings (because it was). Worth every bump on the mountain road. In the afternoon, we drove to Arrowtown, a tiny historic village with big charm.
