मुंबई पोलिसांनी मुस्लिम सणावारांच्या काळात हिंदू आणि हिंदू मंदिरे सुरक्षित ठेवण्याचा एक नवा फंडा शोधला आहे. ईदच्या मिरवणुकीच्या काळात मुस्लिम दगडफेक करतील, अंडी फेकतील म्हणून मंदिर कापडामध्ये लपेटून बंद ठेवण्याची उपाययोजना पोलिसांनी केली. मिरवणूक उबाठा आमदाराच्या नेतृत्वाखाली निघाली होती, हे विशेष आहे. हिंदू ग्रहणाच्या काळात देव झाकतात, तसा काहीसा हा प्रकार. हा प्रकार दुर्दैवी आहे, धक्कादायक आहे आणि त्याहीपेक्षा जास्त धोकादायक आहे. मुंबई पोलिसांच्या कार्यक्षमतेला ग्रहण लागल्याचे हे चिन्ह आहे. हे मुंबईत सर्रास घडलेला नाही. घटना एकांडी आहे, परंतु तरीही या घटनेची दखल घेतली पाहिजे. याचा निषेध झाला पाहिजे आणि कारवाईची मागणीही झाली पाहिजे. आज दुर्लक्ष केले, तर उद्या हा ट्रेंड बनण्याची भीती आहे. अंधेरी पश्चिम मतदारसंघात काल ईदच्या निमित्ताने मिरवणूक काढण्यात आली. उबाठा शिवसेनेचा आमदार हारून खान याने यात पुढाकार घेतला होता, त्याची मुलगी इथे नगरसेविका आहे. मिरवणुकीत पॅलेस्टाईनचे झेंडे फडकावण्यात आले. हिंदुस्तानच्या नकाशाच्या मधोमध मशीद दाखवण्यात आली. ‘मशीद वही बनाएंगे’च्या घोषणा देण्यात आल्या. हा भाग आंबोली पोलिस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीत येतो. पोलिसांनी या चिथावणीखोर घोषणांवर कारवाई केली की नाही, ठाऊक नाही; परंतु एका बाजूला असलेल्या हनुमान मंदिरावर देऊळ बंद कारवाई करण्यात आली. मंदिर पूर्णपणे झाकण्यात आले आणि दर्शनासाठी बंद ठेवण्यात आले. या प्रकारामुळे हिंदूंच्या भावना दुखावल्या गेल्या असून जनतेमध्ये प्रचंड संतापाचे वातावरण आहे. संबंधित अधिकाऱ्यावर कठोर कारवाई करण्याची मागणी होत आहे. Yesterday, an Eid procession was taken out in the Andheri West constituency. UBT Shiv Sena MLA Haroon Khan reportedly took the lead in organizing the procession, while his daughter is a corporator in the area. Palestinian flags were allegedly displayed during the procession. A mosque was shown in the middle of a map of India, and slogans such as “Masjid wahi banayenge” were reportedly raised. The area falls under the jurisdiction of the Amboli Police Station. It is not known whether the police took any action against these allegedly provocative slogans. However, on the other side, a Hanuman temple was reportedly subjected to a “closure” measure. The temple was completely covered and kept closed to devotees. This incident has hurt the sentiments of Hindus and has reportedly generated considerable anger among the public.
