'Nallavakkothuvan thrani ondakanam' - A poem by late Malayalam poet Shri Kadamannitta Ramakrishna. On the occassion of an online tribute to the poet by Purogamana Kala Sahithya Samity Kolkata , I presented a small choreography on the poets work. Here a child remembers a prayer that his mother teaches him about always being polite and using only good words while communicating with others and to have the courage and strength to always speak the truth. The character in the poem also remembers the evenings spent with his parents at a lamplight praying to God. His time spent with his friends in school and how he experienced love and friendship. He also recollects how he connected with nature enjoying the rain , plucking fruits from the trees ... they have all been so wonderful.
