WHITBY FISHING TRIPS ON CEE KING UPDATED 24th MAY 2022

This 20 minute programme gives the viewer an insight into a fishing trip aboard Whitby's Cee King. Barry Rodgers the owner of the boat tells us about his life at sea with a short film on his life in the navy aboard the ship Royston Grange which sadly ended in tragedy when it was in collision with an oil tanker in thick fog on 11th May 1972, he goes out to sea off Whitby to lay a wreath 50 years after the tragic event in memory of all the 74 crew and passengers that were lost in the tragedy. Includes a short film on another boat he owned in Whitby, Kingfisher sea cruises in the 1990's.
