K Set廃車回送を撮り逃す...→並走列車からの先回り成功で奇跡の逆転撮影【SydneyTrains K set12両編成】

まさかの撮影失敗から、最後の最後で大逆転！ この日はK Setの12両編成による廃車回送があると地元の方から教えていただき、撮影に向かう予定でした。 ところが、時間を勘違いしたうえ「運休だろう」と思い込んでしまい、そのまま帰路へ……。 そして帰る途中で、「廃車回送、運転されている！」との知らせ。 急いで撮影地へ引き返しましたが、時すでに遅し。予定していたAuburnでの撮影には間に合いませんでした。 そこで地元の方から教えていただいたLidcombeへ急行。 一度はK Setに追い越されてしまったものの、そこから列車と並走する形で追いかけ、トレインレースにギリギリ勝利！ そして何とか、圧巻のK Set 12両廃車回送をカメラに収めることができました。 さらにはサービス警笛も。大陸鉄道を思わせるような、力強く響くホーンも必聴です。 本来ならAuburnでじっくり撮影できたはずが、まさかの大失敗。 それでも最後まで諦めずに追いかけたことで、奇跡的に撮影成功できて良かったです。 撮影：2026年8月20日（木）オーバーン→リドコム Missed, then a last-minute chase and parallel K Set Scrapping Transfer Run!! A complete failure turned into an incredible last-minute recovery! I had been told by a local rail fan that a 12-car K Set scrapping transfer was running that night, and I was planning to film it at Auburn. However, I misunderstood the timetable and assumed the transfer had been cancelled. I gave up and started heading home… Then, on the way back, I heard the news: the K Set was actually running! I rushed back toward the planned location, but it was already too late to make it to Auburn in time. Thanks to advice from another local fan, I suddenly changed plans and headed for Lidcombe instead. The K Set initially overtook me, but I managed to chase it down by public transport and eventually won the train race by just a few seconds! The result was a last-minute opportunity to capture the spectacular 12-car K Set scrapping transfer. And there was an extra bonus: a powerful service horn during the run, with a deep, almost continental-style railway sound. I had missed my original shooting opportunity at Auburn, and by not giving up, I was able to capture at least part of this remarkable K Set transfer.
