The Complete Kubrick Unboxing Attempt and Struggle with the HORRENDOUS DESIGN

#criterion #physicalmedia #4k #bluray #stanleykubrick This began as a simple unboxing of The Complete Kubrick boxset from Criterion. Instead it became a struggle to get out each and every disc. Then I had to physically check each and every disc for damage and sure enough most of the discs have some type of damage, with some being so heavy that it will likely require disc replacements. This package design is completely unusable and only damages the discs themselves. It is without question one of the worst I have ever seen and stands alongside the most notorious boxes in physical media history for damaging discs. I'm talking about Ford at Fox, The Ten Commandments and the Hitchcock Premiere Collection. The packaging is so bad that you have to check each and every disc as soon as you pry them out. It is so bad that waiting for standalone releases is advisable. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
