During the preparations for Los Carnavales de Camagüey, also known as San Juan, two conga groups suddenly meet in the street. What starts as a festive encounter quickly turns into a powerful conga battle: first one group takes over the rhythm, then the other answers back. This is the spirit of Camagüey before the carnival begins around June 24: drums, movement, tradition, and pure Cuban energy in the streets.
