Join the OEDC for a special webinar featuring Marty Caivano and Jillian Olson from the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) as they explore IMBA’s Ride Center and Trail Town designations. This session will provide an inside look at the criteria, application process, and strategic partnerships needed to earn these nationally recognized designations, along with insights on how communities can leverage them to strengthen trail systems, boost tourism, and grow their outdoor economy. Ideal for trail leaders, local governments, tourism professionals, and economic development partners working to build destination-quality trail systems.
Speakers:
Marty Caivano | Community Engagement Manager:
Marty has worked for IMBA for 10 years, assisting communities with their trail development goals through individualized coaching, as well as running programs like the former IMBA/Subaru Trail Care Crew and today’s Trail Care Workshops, the Trail Accelerator Grant, and now the Ride Center and EPIC Trails designations. In her role with IMBA Trail Solutions, she can also assist project leaders with professional trail planning, design, construction and signage. Marty originally fell in love with mountain biking as a way to experience Colorado’s beautiful backcountry, but now wants trails close to home for every community and every trail user.
