A sensational probe has revealed that details of over 13,150 voters in the Pilibhit Sadar constituency were illegally altered without any official 'Form-8' applications. Labeling this a "criminal act," UP Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Navdeep Rinwa has ordered immediate FIRs against multiple senior officials, including two Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs/EROs) and data entry operators. The opposition has launched a fierce attack on the Election Commission of India (ECI) and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav has alleged a deep-rooted conspiracy to manipulate electoral data and delete genuine opposition voters. Meanwhile, the Congress party has demanded an immediate halt to all ongoing SIR processes across the country until a thorough, independent investigation is conducted.
