48 Hours in Japan’s Most Peaceful Mountain Town ♨️🍁

Spent two nights down in Kurokawa Onsen, and honestly, it might be one of the most beautiful, relaxing towns in all of Japan. Tucked away in the mountains with lush greenery and rivers everywhere, it operates on a totally different pace than the cities. I checked into a traditional ryokan, and on the second day, I grabbed one of their Nyuto Tegata (a little wooden pass) which lets you hop around and visit three different outdoor river baths all over town. Between walking the streets in wooden sandals and a yukata, incredible multi-course ryokan meals, and just soaking in nature, this place is unbelievable.
