Equinox sail to Channals creek, exploring Turnaware Point

The final sail of the season! In this episode we enjoy a bright sail across the bay to the River Fal and up to Channals creek (and back). This is a great spot to anchor, tucked away where the river narrows. Opposite is Turnaware Point which was used during WW2 as an embarkation point for D-Day which I explore on foot (now owned by the National Trust). It's beach is popular with boaters as a BBQ spot (fires or camping are likely 'unofficial'). A spot well worth exploring. I must return and have a wander about up on the wooded mound.
