"Hip Hop Vignettes Vol V" | Downtempo Beats | Cerulean Ascent

Combining analogue and digital production with a visualiser beamed at you from outer space, this is an immersive 24 minute continuous set of hip hop inspired music. Dusty boom bap breakbeats team up with soul and funk samples from the 1960s and 1970s, alongside modern synthesis and sound design, plus samples taken from 1980s cinema. Heavy beats and chill vibes. This is all just for fun, and it's being shared in the same spirit. Cerulean Ascent is an independent producer exploring atmospheric electronic music, ambient textures, broken beats, hip hop, leftfield house and experimental soundscapes. Combining analogue and digital production, field recordings and hypnotic visual worlds, each release is an exploration of mood, texture and movement. Track list included below plus a list of sources for the samples used (and as usual this probably makes a decent playlist in its own right :) Follow here on YouTube and here on Bandcamp: https://ceruleanascent.bandcamp.com/ And here on Soundcloud:   / cerulean_ascent   Track list: 00:00 Beat Salvation 02:30 Ghetto Bruh 04:27 Doctor Love-Your-Love 05:31 Bucket Dreams & EasyEasyEasyTiger 07:40 Reborn Soul 10:56 Iron Lung 13:23 Liver Sausage 15:27 What's In There? 17:54 No Man Dub 19:25 Utmost Discretion 21:58 Sometimes I Drift Samples: Clips from the movie "Cannonball Run" Vivian Copeland - He Knows My Key (Is Always In The Mailbox) The Solid Gold Orchestra - Tracks Of Love The Impressions - I'm So Proud Jazzie Cazzie & The Eight Sounds - Young Girl The Majestics - Funky Chick Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Half Manne Half Cocaine Elmer & Brenda Parker & The Night Lighter - Got To Get Back To Louisianna Kashmere Stage Band - Scorpio Kashmere Stage Band - Shaft Ernie & The Top Notes - Dap Walk Timothy McNealy - Sagittarius Black Lafayette Afro Rock Band - Hihache James Brown - The Payback Mighty Show Stoppers - Hippy Skippy Moon Strut Imagination - Just An Illusion The Equations - I Love Your Love Eddie Bo - Check Your Bucket Timothy McNealy - Easy, Easy, Easy The Wild Magnolias - (Somebody Got) Soul Soul Soul Marylin Barbarin & The Soul Finders - Reborn Clip from documentary "The Shock Of The New Culture As Nature" Mickey & The Soul Generation - Iron Leg Joe Henderson - Recorda Me Explosion - Jockey Ride Eddy Finley & The Cincinnati Show Band - Treat Me Right Or Leave Me Alone The Meters - Hey Last Minute The Meters - Liver Splash Joe Chopper & The Swinging 7 Soul Band - Soul Pusher The Fabulous Originals - It Ain't Fair But It's Fun Clips from the movie "Weird Science" Clips from the movie "Withnail & I" The 24 Carat Black - Ghetto: Misfortune's Wealth Skeletons - Mulatu Gloria Jay - Know What You Want Larry Young's Fuel - Turn Off The Lights The Apples - Howlin' With Fred Sven Hammond - Svub Dub Clips from the movie "Ghostbusters" Fanga - I Didn't Know Lefties Soul Connection - Here Come The Girls feat Flomega Big John Patton - One Step Ahead Barbara & Brenda - That's When You've Got Soul The Silhouettes - Red Snow Joey Badass, WSG - Swank White #hiphopmusic #beats #downtempobeats #boombap #graffiti #streetart #brokenbeats #instrumentalhiphop #ceruleanascent #mixtape #newmusic2026
