NOT BY SIGHT is about trusting God when what you see does not match what He has said. But the believer is not called to build his confidence on circumstances. We walk according to the truth of God’s Word, trusting His character, His promises, and His faithfulness even before the evidence appears. “For we walk by faith, not by sight:” — 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1 KJV That is the heart of NOT BY SIGHT. Faith is not pretending difficulty is not real. It is recognizing that what we can see is not the highest authority. God is. His Word is true before the breakthrough. His character is unchanged while we wait. His faithfulness does not depend on what the moment looks like. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV The message is simple: Walk by faith. Not by sight. Keep trusting when you cannot see the ending. Keep believing when circumstances have not caught up with what you hoped for. Keep following Christ when you only know the next step. You may not know what tomorrow looks like, but God does. Faith does not mean we know exactly what God will do in every situation. It means we know Who God is. He is faithful. He is good. He is sovereign. Our hope is in Jesus Christ Himself. Sometimes faith looks like waiting. Sometimes faith looks like worship while questions remain unanswered. Sometimes faith is simply taking the next step because you trust the One Who told you to walk. Our confidence is not in ourselves, positive thinking, manifestation, or our ability to control the future.
