24hrs On The Isle Of Skye (Quiraing, Pizza in the Skye & Glencoe Mountain Resort)

Come along with me, my dog Honey, my friend Sophie and her dog Opal, as we start day 12 of our Scotland roadtrip waking up to a stunning view, just a stones throw away from the Old Man of Stor in the Isle of Skye. We then set off on our fully packed day, doing a quick pit stop at Kilt Rock, before heading to the Quiraing for a nice stroll, which we cut short due to a narrow path, too many people and a worry for the safety of the dogs. Next up we stopped at the whimsical Fairy Glen before moving on to our lunch spot, Pizza in the Skye where we picked up two delicious pizzas and a garlic bread. Then we headed to the Collie and Mackenzie statue, followed up with us dipping our face in a freezing cold stream under Sligachan OBridge to gain eternal beauty. Wrapping up our day we took one of the most amazing drives, where we passed Elaine Donan Castle and witnessed to most incredible sky, before getting to our stop for the night and heading to sleep. Day 13 we head to the beach to see the Boat of old Caol, followed by a failed attempt to see the steam train on the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Next up we went on a relaxing stroll around Glencoe Lochan before heading to Glencoe Mountain Resort, where we had a refreshing shower, followed by soup and a toastie. Day 14 consist of a more active hike up Conic Hill, followed by dinner from the Clansman, which we enjoyed in the van overlooking Loch Lomond, reminiscing on our trip before heading to bed.
