These words followed an intense moment where the disciples were unable to cast out a demon from a young boy. The father, desperate and heartbroken, came to Jesus for help. Jesus responded by highlighting the importance of prayer and fasting! What a reminder that some spiritual battles require a deeper level of engagement! When we pray and fast, God intensifies the anointing upon our lives, enabling us to confront the strongholds that bind people as well as those in our own personal lives.
