Wild camping in Snowdonia | Aran Fawddwy cloud inversion | Terra Nova Southern Cross 1 UK wild camp

I finally made it to Snowdonia for a wild camp! I tend to stick to my nearest hills and mountains (Dartmoor and Brecon Beacons), but the more dramatic, rocky scenery of Snowdonia had been calling my name for quite some time. This trip delivered all kinds of weather and experiences; cloud, wind, and scorching sun reaching over 21 degrees Celsius in the shade. I'd estimate that it was around 35 degrees in the sun at midday, compared to a wind chill temperature of 2 degrees just 12 hours earlier. I hope you enjoy this video. I tried hard to capture the beauty of the other-worldly sunrise from above the clouds, as it was a bit of a "life moment" for me, watching my first cloud inversion unfold before my eyes.
