Kiryu's Freedom Has Been Bought, But Majima's Has Been Stripped Once Again! Yakuza 0 #12

The two stories seem to be melding into one! Last stream, we had just picked it all back up from Kiryu's perspective after almost getting iced by Nishiki. We had just returned to Kamurocho and were trying to just survive one night until Tachibana could get more information on the empty lot owner, but when we got to our pad, we saw that it was completely torched in flames! We needed to find a place to lie low for the night, but were struggling to find somewhere. Eventually, we bumped into a drunkard who proceeded to get angry with us and slice our face with an empty beer bottle! We managed to escape, and took refuge in a park. Out of nowhere, Reina, the owner of that Serena bar, found us and offered to patch us up a little. She also told us that the police were searching for us as well. She insisted that we come to her bar to stay the night. We tried to tell her no because we kept getting everyone caught up in our nonsense, but she was adamant that we come with her. Shortly after arriving at the bar, we could hear the elevator coming up, and no surprise, it was a bunch of Dojima dudes trying to mess us up! We managed to escape, but out in the streets was literally the entire Dojima family, Kuze and Awano, and everyone else included! We fought them off for as long as we could until we were right about to get our head bashed in by Kuze when Tachibana showed up in a sports car, plowed straight through Kuze, and helped us escape! We were able to regroup with Oda and ditch the car inside of a parking garage, but right as were about to leave, Tachibana had some sort of medical episode and we needed to take him to the hospital! Supposedly after he lost his hand, he had lost soo much blood that it jacked his kidneys up. Now he needs a dialysis treatment every couple of days to stay alive! Our plans to find the empty lot owner were on hold until he could get better! Oda hatched a plan to take us to little Asia, a place where a majority of Asian immigrants live. It is kind of a sacred ground in the area, and it meant that the families shouldn't have eyes on anything going on there. The leader of Little Asia refused to let us stay however, and Oda tried his hardest to plead with the dude. Tachibana actually showed up, and he told Oda to chill on the begging as Elder Chen wouldn't change his mind on the issue. Tachibana had one more idea of where we would possibly be safe, and that was in a homeless encampment in the park. It was our only option. We befriended the homeless pretty quick, and even got one of them to let us stay in his tent for the night, but as we were sleeping, the encampment got attacked by young thugs called the homeless hunters! We managed to fight them off, and long story short, I don't think they're gonna be messing with the homeless anytime soon! In the morning, Oda came to pick us up and take us to an undisclosed location where we would meet with Tachibana. The location we were going to was actually the Tojo family HQ! Tachibana was there talking with the head honcho, Nihara, about making a deal to call the Dojima family off Kiryu! Kiryu was convinced we were all about to die, but after offering a billion yen, and 30% of all future Tachibana profits, Nihara accepted the deal and officially called the Dojima family off of Kiryu, but not before sending every single dude in the compound after us to prove our strength! We all headed to the docks shortly after in order to catch our breath a little bit. Tachibana finally revealed to us that the owner of the empty lot was in Sotenbori. He told us to chill on it for a little, but Kiryu refused to stand by and said he would go get the owner and bring them back to Kamurocho. Oda said he would come with us as well. We met back in Little Asia where Tachibana told us that the owner of the empty lot was a young blind woman by the name of Makoto Makimura! Oda and Kiryu were on their way to Sotenbori to bring her back! I can't wait to see how these two stories meet up eventually! Back in Sotenbori, we picked it up as Majima once again. Sagawa actually survived the gunshot wounds, and has taken us hostage inside of a warehouse where he's been beating the sheizz out of us trying to teach us a lesson. Instead of killing us right away, he's gonna use us to try to find Makimura as well as the mystery man that attempted to take both of us out! The only lead we have so far is the Kijin Clan, the leader of which killed the body double of Makimura earlier!
