In this episode, I take a trip back to one of the bands that had a huge impact in the 90's: Korn. Korn wasn’t just another band I listened to growing up. Their sound, attitude, heaviness, groove, and willingness to push boundaries became part of the musical DNA that influenced a generation of artists. From the raw aggression to the emotional weight in their music, there was something about Korn that made you want to participate. As someone who has spent years making music, performing, and being part of the Filipino rock/metal scene, I’ll be sharing some of my personal experiences and memories surrounding the music that influenced me — and how those influences found their way into my own journey.
