We were shocked to learn that most UK motorways are actually dual carriageways, and that a road doesn't even need multiple lanes in each direction to be considered one. That is mindblowing! The fact that you can be driving 70 mph on a dual carriageway and suddenly have someone merging from an insanely short slip road is WILD! Then you add in traffic lights, houses along the road, different speed limits depending on what you're driving, and completely different rules for motorways... WOW! We learned a ton from this one!
