Step back into the early days of NASCAR as the 1/24 scale 1950s Stock Cars take over Pelican Park Autodrome! These tall, narrow, and unforgiving machines demand skill, patience, and consistency from every driver. Before the racing begins, we take a look at two standout entries: James Wendell’s beautifully detailed 1950 Oldsmobile and Gary T.’s sharp-looking 1955 Chevrolet, complete with a race-ready chassis. With 10 racers on hand, qualifying followed the Basil’s Way format, setting the stage for a competitive night of racing. The top eight drivers advanced to the semi-mains, where Gary T., Rich, James, and Cully earned their spots in the Main Event. Meanwhile, Bob captured the consolation race victory, and the Hooligans division provided plenty of action of its own. The Main Event delivered drama from the start as Rich and Cully battled for the lead before a tangle in the doughnut turned the race upside down. A surprise around lap 40 added even more excitement as the drivers fought for every lap. When the checkered flag fell, Cully claimed the victory, with Rich finishing second, James third, and Gary T. fourth. Thanks for watching!
