#Durabhaka #Thadobhaka #DeuBahadurDura #DuraCulture #Lamjung #NepaliFolkSong #NepalCulture #TraditionalMusic #FolkHeritage #Karaputar #ShivaratriMela #NepalFolkMusic #IndigenousCulture #Duradanda #DeumaniLokKalaKendra लमजुङ जिल्लाको दुराडाँडा उद्गमस्थल रहेको दुरा जातिको मौलिक सांस्कृतिक सम्पदा ‘दुराभाका ठाडोभाका’ गीतका स्रष्टा देउ बहादुर दुराले यो गीत शिवरात्रि मेला, करापुटारमा आफ्ना सांगीतिक सहकर्मी पञ्चसुब्बा गुरुङसँग मिलेर प्रस्तुत गर्नुभएको थियो। लोपोन्मुख अवस्थामा रहेको यस ठाडोभाका गीतलाई संरक्षण, संवर्द्धन तथा प्रवर्द्धन गर्ने उद्देश्यले देउमनी लोककला केन्द्रमार्फत पुनः प्रस्तुत गरिएको छ, ताकि दुरा समुदायको अमूल्य सांस्कृतिक पहिचान भावी पुस्तासम्म सुरक्षित रहोस्। The traditional Durabhaka Thadobhaka song, an original cultural heritage of the Dura community whose ancestral homeland is Duradanda in Lamjung District, Nepal, was created and performed by renowned folk artist Deu Bahadur Dura. This song was originally presented at the Shivaratri Fair in Karaputar, Lamjung, alongside his musical collaborator Panchasubba Gurung. With the objective of preserving, promoting, and revitalizing this endangered folk music tradition, the song has been reintroduced through the Deumani Folk Art Center. This presentation aims to safeguard the unique cultural identity, language, and musical heritage of the Dura people for future generations while promoting Nepal's rich folk traditions to a wider audience.
