鉄道模型って、正確じゃなきゃダメですか？　Do Model Trains Have to Be Accurate?

今回は、模型製作をお休みして、ちょっとしゃべくり。 最近SNSなどで見かける「実車と違う」「再現度が低い」といった話をきっかけに、鉄道模型の「正確さ」について考えてみました。 KATOのSL、鉄コレ、マイクロエース、西鉄600形など、いくつかの模型を例にしながら、 「実車と違うところがある模型は、それだけで価値が下がるのだろうか？」 ということを、あくまで私なりに考えてみます。 模型は、実車を正確に再現することも楽しい。 でも、それだけが模型の楽しみ方ではないんじゃないかな。 SNSに何かを書く前に、ほんの少し一拍置いてみる。 そして、模型を楽しむための「余白」もあっていい。 ……まあ、そんなことを言っている本人が、最後に何を走らせているかはご覧ください（笑） This time, I'm taking a break from modeling and just having a little chat. Inspired by some comments I've seen on social media about models being “different from the real thing” or having “poor accuracy,” I started thinking about what “accuracy” really means in model railroading. Using several models—including KATO steam locomotives, the Tetsudō Collection, Micro Ace models, and the Nishitetsu 600 series—I talk about whether a model's value is really diminished just because some details don't exactly match the real train. Accurately reproducing the real thing can certainly be part of the fun. But I don't think that's the only way to enjoy railway models. Maybe it's worth taking a moment before posting something on social media.
