Little River Spring - A Journey into the Harper Tunnel

Dive into the crystal-clear waters of Little River Springs in Florida as Tracy Niesent and I video the beautiful and infrequently dived Harper Tunnel. The video begins with a walk to the spring basin before descending into the cavern entrance and entering the underwater cave. After entering the system, the footage jumps ahead to approximately 700 feet of penetration, where Tracy ties into the main guideline and runs a gap line to the permanent Harper Tunnel line. From there, the dive continues deep into the Harper Tunnel, revealing its stunning passage, limestone formations, and the unique atmosphere of one of Florida’s underwater cave systems. The exploration reaches nearly 1300 feet of total penetration before the passage transitions into a tight no-mount restriction, marking the turnaround point for our dive.
