Big Rapstar, Armando Panday was born in Amsterdam on August 13, 1980 and had a Hindu-Surinamese background. He had a great passion for American hip hop and r&b music and he inspired the youth in the Netherlands with his own made Hip Hop and R&B songs, texts and beats that were spoken in English. In the year 1996 he started the group The SPG Crew together with his cousin in the Netherlands. He had a great voice and in 2002 the hotel manager in the Mexican city of Puerto Vallarta even asked him to act as a rapstar in the Hotelclub. Hereafter, SPG continued for many years with performances throughout the Netherlands. At that time the rise of Dutch-speaking rap began, with Armando being the first rapper in the Netherlands to combine English and hindi songs with rap and hip hop beats. Don Armando started with the artist name 'Black Cobra' in the SPG group, later he changed his artist name to 'Big Rapstar'. SPG has recorded many tracks and performed in the Netherlands and abroad up to 2006. In 2012 Armando picked up the thread again and went solo under the name Don Armando. Don Armando was very productive and has written and produced 12 albums and more than 100 tracks in 2 years. Unfortunately, in 2014 Armando was murdered in a senseless way by an employee in a healthcare facility. The employee is still walking around freely and Armando could not finish his music and had plans to break through as an international rapper. So we finished his Album for Armando. In collaboration with the artists of Masarati Empire, Buznass G has managed to complete his album and fulfilled Armando his wish, a true comeback from SPG in 2018 with the Album Don Armando 'SPG Legends'. And now...... we want to dedicate this album to our beloved artist .... .....Big Rapstar, Don Armando Panday REST IN PEACE Special thanks to the Masarati Empire Family, Lloyd de Meza, Don Mano Brandon Romeo, S0undField, MG, Wickey G, TOF, Krizz, Butcher Snake, Maybach Montana, Buznass, Van Houten.
