Stay Golden S3, Episode 1: Meet the Golden Eagles – Student-Athlete Spotlight

In the Season 3 premiere of the Stay Golden Podcast, Lemoore College President James Preston sits down with student-athletes from across Golden Eagle Athletics to talk about their experiences competing at the collegiate level, balancing academics and athletics, and being part of the Lemoore College community. Riley and Aubrey from Women’s Volleyball share their experiences on the court and the teamwork and dedication it takes to compete as Golden Eagles. Carlos and Luis from Men’s Soccer and Iva and Chevelle from Women’s Soccer offer their perspectives on competition, their teammates, and representing Lemoore College on the field. The conversation also heads to the mat with Esperanza and Alina from Women’s Wrestling and Nathan and Robbie from Men’s Wrestling, who discuss the discipline, preparation, and determination required to compete in one of Lemoore College’s growing athletic programs. Malachi, Haygen and Eleven from Men’s Basketball, along with Laila and Olivia from Women’s Basketball, round out the conversation with a look at life on the court and the relationships and experiences that come with being a college athlete.
