Mercy Rule - Cities Are Burning

Christian hard rock / heavy metal compilation from the 80s. BAND: Mercy Rule ALBUM: Underground Metal SONG: Cities Are Burning Beliefs: Christian Lyrics: I walked the dark side I never knew What life would be with You I walked the high side I was on the go Never took the time to know You I was looking for someone To share my life I was searching for my dream I pictured her dressed In silky white But the rags You wore I'd never seen I walked on the fast side Always on the run In the age of the gun I walked the low side I was down and out Living in shadows of doubt I was looking for someone To share my life I was searching for my dream I pictured her dressed In silky white But the rags You wore I'd never seen Cities are burning Into the night My heart is yearning To see the light Cities are burning Out of control My heart is yearning For true love! I see the cities burning In my dreams I hear their screams In my dreams I see the cities burning In my dreams I hear their screams In my dreams Cities are burning Cities are burning Cities are burning Into the night
