Newsreport: Wedding photos of killed German soldier returned to his family 65 years later

Former Lt Howard Hensleigh, of the 517th Parachute Infantry Regiment, explains how in October 1944 he shot and killed a German soldier in an ambush near Sospel, Southern France, and took his wedding photos from the dead German's body. Thanks to research by French author Jean-Loup Gassend, it was possible to determine that this dead German was named Georg Rieck, and it was possible to contact his son and grandson in Germany, who then got back in touch with Howard Hensleigh. Hensleigh ultimately sent them back the pictures.
