I’m 57, and I’m trying to figure out whether I can realistically retire before 60. One of the biggest questions I’m asking myself is: What might my retirement income actually look like? In this episode of my Can I Retire Before 60? series, I’m looking at the potential income sources that could shape my future, including my estimated pension, retirement savings and investments, Social Security, and the possibility of building income through YouTube or other work. I’m not a financial advisor, and I don’t have every answer yet. I’m sharing my personal journey as I try to understand the numbers, consider the risks, and figure out whether early retirement could be realistic for me. After decades of working in technology, I’m beginning to question what the next chapter of my life should look like. I want more flexibility and more control over my time, but I also need to be honest about the financial realities.
