On Sunday, October 25, Ukraine struck two of Russia's war plants in a single day, and the pair tells a bigger story than either fire alone. In the morning, drones hit the Avisma titanium plant in Berezniki, more than a thousand kilometres from the border, a facility at the top of Russia's fighter jet supply chain. By the afternoon, smoke was rising over the Energiya battery plant in Yelets, the factory that makes the power cells for missiles and for the guidance modules that turn ordinary bombs into precision glide bombs. This video opens the map on both strikes, explains what titanium sponge and specialised batteries actually do inside a weapon, and separates what is confirmed from what is only reported, including the reported Storm Shadow strike at Yelets and the conflicting casualty reports. It also looks at why Russia's air defences, stretched across thousands of kilometres and hundreds of drones a night, could not stop both attacks, at the radar and command post strikes reported the same day, and at the diplomatic track running in parallel, from a limited humanitarian pause in Oleshky to new talks planned for November. The video closes with four concrete things to watch, from satellite damage assessments to a possible third cruise missile strike, and with the simple conclusion that Ukraine is hunting the supply chain itself, making Russia's weapons harder to build, not just harder to use.
