If you've ever played an RTS game before, you'll know how vitally important a detailed knowledge of each units is, and in particular how effective that type of unit is against other types of units within the game. Rise of Nations makes this particularly challenging as the units evolve from the swords and spears of the Ancient era right up to modern tanks, fighter jets and aircraft carriers. Fear not, in this video I will introduce you to simplification techniques and general rules to help minimise the need to remember individual counters across the game.
