Into the Bluebell Woods | A Spring Watercolour at Kew Gardens

In this video, I’m painting a quiet spring path through the bluebell woods at Kew Gardens. I was drawn to the soft afternoon light, the dappled shadows crossing the path, and the small touches of bluebells scattered beneath the trees. Together, they gave the woodland a peaceful atmosphere, with a gentle sense of mystery beyond the winding path. In this watercolour process, I begin with loose washes for the path and surrounding foliage, before gradually building the layers of greenery, tree trunks and branches.
