(REACTION) First Time Listening to Ni**as in Paris - Jay Z & Kanye West (I’m Very Late)

I’ve heard people reference this song for years, but somehow I never actually sat down and listened to Ni*gas in Paris by Jay-Z and Kanye West until now. This is my first genuine reaction. I pause a lot. I focus on specific lyrics. I get distracted by production choices. At one point I realize I might be missing the point entirely. I’m not a music expert. I’m just reacting in real time and trying to understand why this track became such a massive cultural moment — and why people still quote it constantly. If you enjoy: • first-time reactions • overanalyzing songs that don’t need it • uncomfortable pauses • someone clearly processing things a beat too late then this is probably for you. Feel free to explain things in the comments. I will read them. Possibly too literally. — Rodney Burns Jr
