The Duty of a Hafidh • Hadhrat Mawlana Fazlehaq Wadee Sahib Hafizahullah

Ameen. _______ The esteemed Aariful Mashaayikh, Mua'arikh e Islam, and master of both Islamic and worldly sciences, Shaykhul Hadith wa' Taareekh Hadhrat Mawlana Fazlehaq Wadee Sahib Hafizahullah, has dedicated his life to the service of Allah Ta'ala. Born in Madagascar, Hadhrat migrated to England at the age of 15 and completed the memorization of the Holy Qur'an within 15 months under the guidance of Hafidh Gulam and Hadhrat Qari Ismail Samni RA. He then pursued Islamic studies at Darul Uloom Bury under the tutelage of Hadhrat Mawlana Yusuf Motala RA, Barakatul Asr Hadhrat Mawlana Hashim Jogwar Sahib DB and Hadhrat Mawlana Islaamul Haq RA. Following this, he completed his Dawra-e-Hadith in Saharanpur under the instruction of Muhaddithul Asr Hadhrat Mawlana Yunus Jaunpuri RA. Hadhrat Sahib also had the honor of studying the renowned "Musalsal bil Awwaliya" Hadith from notable scholars, including Hadhrat Shaykh Zakariyya Kandhalwi RA, Hadhrat Shaykh Yunus Jaunpuri RA, Hadhrat Shaykh Abdullah An-Naakhibi RA and others. He holds ijazah and Khilafah in the Chistiyya, Naqshbandiyya, Qadriya, and Soharwardiya Salaasil, having received them from: • His father and Shaykh, Qutub e Bartaania Hadhrat Mawlana Ismaeel Wadee Rahimahullah. • His teacher, Muhaddithul Asr Hadhrat Mawlana Yunus Jaunpuri Rahimahullah. • His teacher, Barakatul Asr Hadhrat Mawlana Hashim Jogwar Sahib Hafizahullah. Hadhrat Sahib has played a pivotal role in establishing numerous institutions worldwide, including: • Jamea Al Kauthar (1996) – A pioneering institute for girls. • Abrar Academy (2009) – A Darul Uloom for boys and girls offering a wide range of Islamic education. • Darul Uloom Preston (2015) – A dedicated institute for post-16 male students from around the globe. Additionally, local institutions like Madani Masjid (Accrington) and The Khanqah (Blackburn) operate under his guidance.
