China uses water cannons as Philippines evacuates Ayungin soldier

The Philippine Coast Guard says a medical evacuation for a Filipino soldier stationed at the BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin Shoal on October 8 took over 10 hours because its Chinese counterpart "used its water cannon, refused the original rendezvous point, and shadowed PCG assets throughout." The soldier is now stable and en route to the nearest viable port via the BRP Cabra.
