Today is Shubho Bijoya Dashami. With the immersion of the idols, the Sharadiya Durga Puja—the largest religious festival for followers of the Sanatan faith—comes to an end. Consequently, the bells of departure are ringing across the various mandaps (worship pavilions). The body of Saker Hossain, senior joint convener of the Magura municipal unit of the Jubo Dal, has been recovered. His relatives claim that he was shot to death; however, the police state that the actual cause of death can only be confirmed following an autopsy. In Barguna, 44 individuals were recently appointed as temporary fertilizer dealers, despite the fact that none of the established guidelines were followed. While the screening committee maintains that the appointments were made because everything was in order, an on-site inspection reveals that, in reality, nothing is as it should be. Local residents, as well as the Chief Whip of the National Parliament, have expressed their indignation over this matter. সংবাদ সারাদেশ | Shongbad Sharadesh | 21 October 2026 | 12.30 PM | News | Jamuna TV ABOUT JAMUNA TELEVISION Jamuna Television (Jamuna TV) বাংলাদেশের একটি ২৪ ঘণ্টার সংবাদ ও চলতি ঘটনাবিষয়ক টেলিভিশন চ্যানেল। Jamuna Television, also known as Jamuna TV, is a 24-hour news and current affairs television channel in Bangladesh.
