The "Archetype" That Replaced The Point Guard

In 1995 the five best passers in the NBA were all 6-3 or shorter. Last season the shortest of them was 6-6, and the best was a 6-11 center. So who actually replaced the point guard? In this video I go through 36 seasons of data on the guys who run NBA offenses: how fast they got bigger, why the pass-first point guard disappeared, what happened to the point guard label, and the new archetype that took the ball. Then I answer the question that started it: what would a young Manu Ginobili look like in today's NBA? _____________________________________ Footage in this video is owned by the NBA and its partners.
