TRIP REPORT | Storms: The Huge Power of Nature | Catania to Vienna | Austrian Business Class

Austrian Trip Report flying from Catania to Vienna, in business class, onboard one of the Austrian Airbus A320s on a stormy summer afternoon. The stormiest flight I've seen so far in more than 2000 flights I've done in my life: we crossed 3 squall lines, and we saw at least 15 different storms, the majority of them perfectly aligned, creating proper walls of storms. On top of that it was a very scenic flight, as the storms were isolated, there were no high clouds so we could see all the places we overflew, like the Etna Volcano, Stromboli, Napoli, the Adriatic sea, the Croatian coast... just to put the cherry on the top with a beautiful approach over the city of Vienna.
