**FIRST RUN & FIRE!** BRAND NEW 2020 Engine 44 Operates at a Car Fire and Packs up Their Rig

©FDNY Response Videos 2020 Yesterday 11/20/2020 Engine 44 Received their brand new rig. Members got to the arduous task of repacking the rig to get it in service and ready for fire duty. A few minutes after finishing, at around 4:30pm, they were dispatched on their very first run, a car fire on the FDR drive. The rig was put to the test right away, supplying a the hoseline once Engine 8 ran out of water.
