Glenfinnan to A'Chuil Bothy | Cape Wrath Trail (Day 2)

Day 1 was just the warm-up. On Day 2, we leave the relative comfort of Glenfinnan and head deep into the rugged Highlands. We knew this day was coming—a relentless 1,550ft climb in what turned out to be unbelievable Scottish heat. Between the heavy packs and the steep ascent, this was the section we were most worried about. We survived on frequent water breaks, hat-dunking in mountain streams, and some much-needed cloud cover that finally broke the midday sun. This was the moment the Cape Wrath Trail really started to feel real.
