Inside China's 8D City - World's Biggest City You Have Never Heard Of | Chongqing Cyberpunk City

Chongqing is officially our favourite city in China and here is how we spent 4 days here. Day 1 We started our day with Liberation Monument in Jiefangbei street. It represents how Chongqing survived all the bombing during World War II. Time: Open 24 hours Entry Fee: Free After that we went to the most viral place in Chongqing called Kuixing Tower which is famous for 22nd floor illusion. One moment you are on Ground floor and on other you are on 22nd floor. A ground-level street plaza or bridge connects directly to the 22nd floor of a building due to the city's extreme, multi-layered mountain terrain. Time: Open 24 hours Entry Fee: Free Then we went to Eling Park, famous for the city's skyline view. We also spent some time in the park, met some locals. It was really fun. Time: 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM Entry Fee: Free but need to book slot for glass walk way in advance We had local Chowmein Noodles and it was very very yummy but spicy. Post lunch we experienced the Longest escalator in the world called Crown escalator. It takes 2 and a half minute to finish it. Crazy. Entry Fee: Approximately INR 30 After that we took a ride in sky bus and went to see famous sky bridge, which is again an architectural marvel. Spent evening at Xiahaoli Street where traditional architecture have been preserved and converted into shops, cafes, museums and restaurants. It's a very beautiful place and perfect for cafe hopping, souvenirs shopping and to chill. There is also a waterfall in the area. Looks very beautiful in the evening too. Ended our day with a real life spirited away location called Hongya Caves. It looks most beautiful at night when all the lights are on. Day 2 On this day we had booked a premium room, so we stayed in and relaxed. Day 3 First stop of the day was the viral Liziba station. It is popular because the train station is inside a Residential building and train passes through the building. Time: Open 24 hours Entry Fee: Free The we went to Ciqikou Ancient Town. Again it is very popular for cafes and for sauces, sweets, local snacks. Time: Shops closes at 9:00 PM Entry Fee: Free Near by the ancient town there is a theatre where you can see this interactive and immersive play called 1949 based on the liberation movement of China. Totally worth it, it is one of a kind and we were literally blown away with the presentation. Time: 2:00, 4:00 & 7:30 PM Entry Fee: INR 4700 Our last stop of the day was Raffles city and Chaotianmen Square. Day 4 Our last day started with some coffee with a beautiful view, then we went to Luohan Temple. It's a very very pretty buddhist temple and must visit when you are in Chongqing. Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Entry Fee: INR 280 Then we went to Ring Mall to do some shopping, where we experienced a very futuristic car with many amazing features. And we also went to see deepest subway station. We have uploaded all the short videos of that on our Instagram. Ended our last day at Deyi world which is filled with so many LED lights and it truly feels like you are in Cyberpunk city.
