Swapping a K24 Myself, What Nobody Shows You

In this episode, I focus on preparing the Integra DC2 Type R’s engine bay for the K24 swap. We start by clearing out the way in the engine bay to remove the old drivetrain bracket, modifying mounting points, and tackling all the fitment issues that come with getting a K24 to sit properly in this bay. The engine goes in, but this isn’t the final setup — there’s still a lot to mock up while it’s in place to understand exactly what this swap demands before it comes back out for a proper teardown. Nothing is skipped. The frustrating moments, the small wins, and the chaotic in-between are all part of the process.
