The organisers put forward the message, “We are not Chinese, we are Indian, we are Arunachali,” while expressing their commitment to protecting the state’s land, identity and India’s territorial integrity. The demonstration aims to draw public attention to the concerns of people living in remote border areas and encourage unity and vigilance among citizens. The administration has permitted the programme with conditions regarding traffic movement, crowd management and security arrangements.
