As we continue our series, "The Jesus I Never Knew," this message through Luke 9:57-62. In it, we find three brief, pointed encounters between Jesus and people who claim they want to follow Him. In "Following Jesus Today," we ask an uncomfortable question: is there a difference between admiring Jesus and actually following Him? Three would-be followers offer three reasonable-sounding excuses, and Jesus doesn't accept a single one. It's a challenging, clarifying look at what it actually costs to walk with Him, not just cheer for Him from a distance.
