1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk Just in we have this 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk. The Studebaker Silver Hawk was produced between 1957 and 1959. The Silver Hawk was based on the earlier Starlight, a similar pillared-coupe model. Studebaker sold only 7,788 Silver Hawks in 1959. This restored Silver Hawk has been restored and updated with some definite improvements. It has a 350 CI V8 small block chevy with a 350 turbo automatic transmission. The car has power steering, power brakes and disc brakes on the front. Updated drive train. It has an Edelbrock Air Cleaner, Aluminum intake and Edelbrock carburetor under the hood along with an aluminum radiator, new leaf springs, new shocks, new gas tank. It has dual exhaust, a 10 bolt rear end and a front sway bar. The paint and body on this car is very nice. Take a look at the pics and watch the video to see the details up close for yourself. The interior is beautiful and near new looking done in all red leather with leather bucket seats in front emblazoned with Studebaker on the headrest and leather back seats as well. Seatbelts have been put in all around. Leather covered door panels. Custom Autometer gauges, Retro radio, and the carpet is like new. Has a leather wrapped steering wheel, 6 way power seats with lumbar support. The chrome and brightwork all around on this car is excellent. It has steel wheels with Studebaker hubcaps and this car came out of California and not surprisingly has an underbody that is super clean and we have those pics posted as well. This is a great way to own a Studebaker with some updated features to be able to drive and enjoy this car more easily.
