‎ ‎To our MERAKI family, ‎This film was never just about completing a requirement. For me, especially as the scriptwriter, it started as words on a page—ideas, scenes, characters, and a story that I could only imagine in my head. But somewhere along the way, those words became something real because of all of you. ‎ ‎από τον Όλυμπο και πίσω (From Olympus and Back) became a collection of our ideas, our effort, our laughter, our stress, and all the little moments that made the process worth remembering. ‎ ‎Writing the story was one thing, but seeing it slowly come to life was something else entirely. The characters I once imagined on paper were suddenly being portrayed by people I worked alongside. The scenes I pictured became actual scenes. The ideas that once existed only as lines in a script became something we could finally see, hear, and share. And that reminded me that a scriptwriter may begin a story, but it is the people who bring it to life. ‎ ‎There were moments when things didn't go as planned. We became tired, confused, overwhelmed, and probably questioned ourselves more than once. But somehow, we kept going. We adjusted, helped one another, laughed through the stressful moments, and continued together. ‎ ‎That is what MERAKI means to me. ‎ ‎It is putting a piece of yourself into what you create—with love, passion, and creativity. And when I look at this film, I don't just see the story I wrote. I see pieces of all of us in it. ‎ ‎To everyone who stood in front of the camera, worked behind it, shared ideas, handled props, helped with scenes, acted, edited, prepared materials, solved problems, and supported the production in ways that may not always have been noticed—thank you. Every contribution mattered. Every effort became part of this story. ‎ ‎As the scriptwriter, I am especially grateful that you trusted the story enough to help me tell it. Thank you for taking the words I wrote and giving them life in your own way. You made the story bigger than what I originally imagined. ‎ ‎When we look back at this project someday, I hope we won't only remember the deadlines, revisions, pressure, and exhaustion. I hope we'll remember the laughter between takes, the random conversations, the moments when we figured things out together, and the feeling of watching our little idea slowly become a film. ‎ ‎Because in the end, we didn't just make a film.
