Building Design & Analysis: Load Paths for Lateral Loads and Bracing Design

This video discusses how to carry out a load path analysis / load run down on lateral loads in a multi-storey building. A bracing layout is developed for the structure. A real world structure is discussed to show the practical application of the work. A simple model shows the behaviour of tension-only bracing and lateral deflections.
