The Path to Leadership in Texas | Denise Davis

Welcome to the DSE Podcast! This podcast features conversations with Austin's business leaders, civic builders, and operators shaping the future of Central Texas. Each episode goes deep on the people, decisions, and lessons behind the city's growth. Denise Davis walked her resume into the Texas Capitol, watched it get thrown in the trash, and still landed her first job in Bill Hobby's office. The Partner at Davis Kaufman PLLC joins Aidan Evans to talk about moving from the mailroom to writing speeches, being fired on live television, building a 15-year law partnership, and why civic service remains part of her DNA.
